St. Clair Township Sirens

Emergency Management Siren ImageThe Corunna area of St Clair Township is covered by three sets of these emergency sirens to warn people to take shelter and listen to local radio stations for instruction or information through our MyCNN alerting system that you can sign up for on the Township web Site at www.stclairtownship.ca These sirens are tested at 12:30pm every Monday.

 


Fire Call Siren

These sirens area activated when the Station has an emergency call. We have these at our Stations in Brigden, Corunna, Courtright, Wilkesport and Port Lambton but not in Becher. They have a distinct sound different than the emergency management sirens and are tested usually on Sunday or Monday nights around 7:30pm.

Flags at Half Mast

September 10, 2024 – The flag in front of the St. Clair Township Civic Centre, Mooretown Sports Complex and Emergency Services are lowered to half-mast in memory of the late Jim DeGurse. DeGurse was elected Councillor with St. Clair Township for 20 years (1998-2006 & 2010-2022). DeGurse passed away on September 9, 2024.
