YARD WASTE – MAY 24th HOLIDAY
Due to the Holiday, Monday May 24th yard waste collection (South Township only) will take place on Tuesday May 25th. All other collections for waste, recycling & yard waste will be unaffected.

ATTENTION St. Clair Township Public Works – residential service appointments Effective April 8, 2021, all scheduled non-emergency residential appointments that require entry into a premise have been put on hold. Operations staff will only enter a residence to deal with a water/sanitary related emergency. These measures have been put in place to protect the public
Lambton Generating Station Demolition Project – Rail Spur Reactivation
A rail spur on the Lambton GS property connected to the CSX main line has been reactivated to help improve the removal of scrap metal from the demolition site. The rail spur will remain in-service from April 2021 to December 2022. Several rail cars carrying scrap metal will travel two to three times per week
Holt Line Bridge Re-opening Celebration!
St. Clair Township is hosting an Official Re-opening Ceremony for the Holt Line Bridge following refurbishment. The ribbon cutting event will take place on Friday, March 12 at 11:00am at the Holt Line Bridge Site (823 Holt Line – Map below). We invite you to attend the event to celebrate the bridge’s rehabilitation & re-opening

Winter Parking By-Law
The amended winter parking by-law will go into effect on Monday, April 3rd, 2023. Under this by-law, it is against the law to leave vehicles of any kind parked on public streets and roads overnight from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m, December 1 through April 1. Flags at Half Mast
September 10, 2024 – The flag in front of the St. Clair Township Civic Centre, Mooretown Sports Complex and Emergency Services are lowered to half-mast in memory of the late Jim DeGurse. DeGurse was elected Councillor with St. Clair Township for 20 years (1998-2006 & 2010-2022). DeGurse passed away on September 9, 2024.
