The Township of St. Clair is currently seeking a motivated individual for a Temporary Coordinator of Community Programs position. Working directly under the supervision of the Director of Community Services is responsible for managing the delivery of all recreation programs and services for the Department, including but not limited to aquatic, arena, recreation, and health and fitness. The position will perform administrative duties, direct programming, deal with the public and customers, recommend and develop new programs to meet community needs, measure results, and other duties deemed appropriate by the Director.
Education and Qualifications:
The preferred candidate will possess a college diploma in a related field; National Lifesaving Society (NLS), Red Cross/Lifesaving Society Instructor Trainer, Aquatic Supervisor Training (AST), and First Aid/CPR Instructor certifications; proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and database software
or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
This position offers an annual salary of $69,548.13 – $86,935.16 and is based on a 40-hour work week.
