The Township of St. Clair is seeking a motivated individual for a Campground Lead Hand position within the Community Services Department.
Principal responsibilities for this position are to assign work and give guidance to seasonal maintenance staff and summer students. Duties include preparing grounds and buildings of Campgrounds and Parks for guest use alongside the seasonal maintenance staff, overseeing scheduling and job assignments of staff at Mooretown Campground, daily reconciliation of cash and preparation and processing of bank deposits, inspection of riverfront parks and campgrounds ensuring adequate maintenance standards, carrying out a variety of tree maintenance in parks and campgrounds, supply inventory, training staff and ensuring that all duties are completed in a safe manner meeting OHSA and departmental policy guidelines.
Education and Qualifications:
Qualifications will include Grade 12 diploma, valid Class G Ontario driver’s licence, and 1 year of related experience.

Campground Lead Hand closing July 20, 2021
Due to the current restrictions put in place by the Province of Ontario due to COVID-19, some of the Township of St. Clair’s services have been suspended; and those services still being offered are expected to have a delay.
