The Township of St. Clair is currently seeking a Tax Assistant within the Finance Department.
Working directly under the supervision of the Deputy Treasurer/Coordinator of Accounting, this person shall be responsible for assisting the Senior Tax Clerk and Tax Collector in various property tax duties. This person would help in the bank reconciliation and other duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications:
Qualifications will include a minimum 1-year of college in business with accounting specialization and 1-year related experience in municipal and/or accounting setting. Demonstrated experience to include reception and customer service, receiving and processing municipal payments, monthly bank reconciliations, bookkeeping and accounting, monthly general ledgers, accounts payable invoicing, excellent oral and written communication skills, computer proficiency in accounting, spreadsheet, and word processing software.
