Contact Council

The Council of St. Clair is made up of seven elected officials. Three Councillors from Ward 1 (the former Township of Moore), two Councillors from Ward 2 (the former Township of Sombra), a Deputy Mayor, and a Mayor.

Council usually meets the first Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. and the Finance and Public Works Committee meets the third Monday of the month at 3:00 p.m. with a Council meeting to follow directly after the Committee meeting on the third Monday of the month at approximately 4:30 p.m. For actual meeting dates and times please see below.

Municipal Closed Session Investigator

Members of the public, including corporations, may submit complaints to the Investigator relating to compliance with the Act or the Municipal Procedure By-law for meetings or part of meetings that are closed to the public. The Township of St. Clair is committed to ensuring that any request for an investigation under Section 239 of the Municipal Act, 2001 as amended (the Act) is dealt with in a fair, open and expeditious manner.
