Winter Parking By-Law

January 24th, 2021

The amended winter parking by-law will go into effect on Monday, January 17th, 2022 and will continue until April 1, 2022.  Under this by-law, it is against the law to leave vehicles of any kind parked on public streets and roads overnight from 1 a.m. to 7 a.m.

Property owners are also reminded that it is against the law to shovel snow out into public streets.  These snow piles create dangerous obstacles that can contribute to needless automobile collisions.
