St. Clair Township Election 2014

A reminder to electors that the Township of St. Clair is using the vote by mail format for the upcoming Municipal Election. If you have not received a ballot in the mail by October 9, 2014 please bring identification and visit the Civic Centre at 1155 Emily Street in Mooretown to ensure you are on the voter’s list and obtain your ballot.

Please mail back your ballot in the envelope provided at your earliest convenience to ensure it arrives at the Civic Centre on or before October 27, 2014. Read the instructions carefully and ensure you do not seal your declaration with your ballot.

Those living in Ward 2 who support the separate school board system will not have the opportunity to vote for any contest as the Mayor, Deputy Mayor, both Ward 2 councillors, and the separate school board trustee positions have all been acclaimed.

Finally, please remember that if you forgot to mail your ballot in time for it to arrive at the Civic Centre in Mooretown on or before October 27, 2014, you can always bring your ballot in during normal office hours, or drop it in the mail slot after hours. There will be a single poll at the Civic Centre on October 27, 2014 from 12:00pm to 8:00pm for you to bring in ballots, or obtain a ballot to vote.

With any questions at all, please contact the Clerk at 519-867-2021.

Thank you,

Jeff Baranek, Clerk
